Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring proper presentation and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation and bussing tables to support smooth restaurant operations
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations in the food industry
• Proven ability in beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to handle diverse guest needs gracefully
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings preferred; nightclub or hospitality experience is a plus
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous for managing guest seating efficiently
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Strong communication skills coupled with a team-oriented mindset to support seamless restaurant operations
