Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Support other team members with bussing tables, setting up stations, or assisting during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety practices to educate guests and enhance their experience
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring guests leave satisfied

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional customer service
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu components
• Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Outstanding guest relations skills with a friendly attitude that fosters repeat visits
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a dynamic hospitality setting
