Job Summary

As a Server at Chapel Heights, you will play an important role in creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our residents and guests. You will be responsible for providing attentive service, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring everyone feels welcomed and well cared for throughout their visit.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations when needed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Check in with residents and guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Accommodate individual preferences and provide a respectful, personalized dining experience.
• Process payments accurately and handle point-of-sale transactions, as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining areas.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and clearing tables.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members.
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere for residents, guests, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.
• Patience, compassion, and respect when interacting with residents.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Smart Serve certification is an asset.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building positive relationships with residents and guests, and understands the importance of teamwork in delivering excellent service. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine care for others are essential.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 9.0 per week
