Server (Costa Pacifica)

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Server to join our team.
The Server is responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals accurately, and ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Present menus and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Process payments and handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate required (or ability to obtain certification prior to or within the required period of employment).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment

This position operates in a restaurant environment and may require standing for long periods, carrying trays, and working around hot surfaces and kitchen equipment.
