As a Dining Services Associate (Server),you’re responsible for creating a safe, comfortable and pleasant dining experience for our seniors. Unlike other serving positions in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, resorts), in this role you’ll have the opportunity to build life-long relationships serving our residents the nutritious meals that keep them thriving every day.

What Cascade Living and Alpine Way look for in a Dining Services Associate (Server):

• Work with the dining room manager to identify dietary needs and develop appropriate dietary plans
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents, and their families
• Demonstrate active listening techniques, gain support by treating others with dignity and respect
• Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

What you can expect to do as a Dining Services Associate (Server) for Alpine Way:

• Prepare dining room for all meals, completing the pre-meal procedures
• Fill resident food requests, transport food to dining room or deliver service trays to resident’s units
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
• Use proper tasting techniques to understand the flavor of all entrees and have knowledge of their ingredients, prior to meal service
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Ability to understand menus and answer questions that might arise
• Ensure cleanliness in both kitchen and dining room
• Actively participates as a member of a team and is committed to working toward goals set by management
• Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living

Position Requirements:

• Food Workers Card

$17.13 - $19.13/hour
*Depending on Experience

Job Type:

• Full Time
• Sunday - Thursday
• Sunday & Thursday 4pm-8pm + Monday-Wednesday 11:30am - 8pm
