Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Server to join our dynamic brand new fine dine Indian restaurant !

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Clover, Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation with good knowledge of suggestive selling and upselling
• Wine & Cocktails knowledge
• Handle cash transactions accurately and honestly, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly while maintaining quality service
• Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, table settings, and service stations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
• Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant or food service environment with strong knowledge of the food industry
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory purposes
• Experience in food preparation, serving, and hospitality to deliver seamless guest experiences
• Kitchen experience is a plus for supporting team efforts during peak hours
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with guests
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities
