We are seeking an energetic and personable Server / Front of House (FOH) professional to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance to ensure a smooth dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring all details are correctly entered
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge, spirits experience, and food safety protocols to assist guests effectively
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld in all service areas, adhering to food handling regulations and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction during their visit
• Assist with BOH duties when needed

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems for order entry and sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Experience in food service environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings, demonstrating adaptability across different hospitality contexts
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine pairings, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Food safety certification or familiarity with sanitation standards in the food industry
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests confidently
• Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.42 per hour
