We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Server Food Expeditor/Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and coordinate seating to optimize table turnover
• Maintain clear communication with servers, kitchen staff, and hosts to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
• Expedite food orders by accurately assembling dishes from kitchen tickets and confirming order accuracy before serving
• Use restaurant table management systems to monitor guest seating, wait times, and reservation schedules
• Assist with guest services by answering phone inquiries professionally, managing waitlists, and providing accurate wait time estimates
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures during food preparation and delivery
• Support overall guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as OpenTable or Resy is a plus
• Experience working with POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing is advantageous
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques, are essential
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling bills, split checks, and cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe dining environment

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
