Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas and during beverage service
• Assist with food preparation and presentation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bars
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other POS platforms
• Demonstrated ability in cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales reports
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding liquor laws is preferred
