Server (Front of house)

Job Summary
Aroon Thai Kitchen is looking for a friendly and reliable Server to join our front-of-house team. This role is for someone who enjoys taking care of guests, working well with others, and staying calm in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Serve food and drinks with proper presentation and cleanliness standards
• Monitor tables throughout the meal (refills, pacing, clearing, guest needs)
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and team to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist guests with menu questions and make honest recommendations
• Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally, and notify a manager when needed
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining space
• Complete side work and opening/closing duties as assigned
• Support teammates during busy shifts and contribute to a positive work environment

Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Serving experience is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train someone with a great attitude and strong work ethic
• Clear and respectful communication with both guests and teammates
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual, with a team-first mindset
• Comfortable using a POS system, or willing to learn quickly
• Takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and attention to detail
