Wagyu House is a premium Japanese BBQ dining concept focused on high-quality meats, elevated service, and interactive guest experiences. We are looking for energetic, hospitality-driven team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and creating memorable experiences for guests.

We are seeking servers who are hands-on, guest-focused, and comfortable engaging with tables throughout the dining experience.

Position Summary

As a Server at Wagyu House, you are responsible for delivering an elevated dining experience from greeting to checkout. This includes educating guests on menu options, assisting with premium selections, cooking and grilling items tableside when needed, promoting memberships, maintaining section cleanliness, and ensuring guests receive attentive service throughout their visit.

This is an active service role that requires teamwork, urgency, and strong hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with positive energy
• Explain menu items, premium selections, and dining experience
• Introduce and explain premium tiers and upgrades
• Educate guests on Chubby Club Memberships and benefits
• Assist guests with grill operation and tableside cooking
• Cook and grill meats for guests as needed to enhance service experience
• Monitor cook times, food quality, and guest preferences
• Recommend beverages and featured items
• Maintain clean and organized sections
• Pre-bus, reset, and maintain tables throughout service
• Enter orders accurately and process payments
• Communicate with kitchen, runners, hosts, and management
• Complete opening, running, and closing duties
• Follow sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Support teammates and maintain strong floor operations

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred
• Japanese BBQ, Korean BBQ, Hot Pot, AYCE, or interactive dining experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable cooking and grilling tableside
• Strong guest interaction and hospitality skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable discussing memberships and premium experiences
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Must hacve Weekend and holiday availability

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable working around grills, heat, and active cooking stations
• Able to move quickly during high-volume service

Pay: $7.25/hr + Tips
