Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using OpenTable or similar systems
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu offerings
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient processing
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts and multitask effectively
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food safety practices
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive guest relations
• Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction processing
• Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required; a willingness to learn is valued

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
