Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow during busy hours
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and proper food handling procedures
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through POS systems; process payments swiftly and provide correct change
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, dining space, and ensure compliance with health regulations including food safety protocols
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items including fine dining options or nightclub offerings, and addressing any concerns professionally

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or banquet settings
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Background in hospitality environments like nightclubs or catering enhances ability to adapt quickly in diverse settings
• Retail math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
