Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and OpenTable reservations with professionalism
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including TOAST POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology tools
• Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and beverage service techniques
• Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment with multiple tables or stations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Solid understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Previous restaurant or food industry experience; fine dining experience is a plus
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and splitting checks
• Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
• Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
• Ability to handle cash transactions confidently while maintaining accuracy in sales processing

Pay: $7.50 - $15.00 per hour
