Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service, including taking orders and processing sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen support tasks to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while processing payments efficiently.
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, upselling menu items like specialty drinks or desserts, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods effectively, demonstrating excellent time management and teamwork skills.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, cafes, or bars is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances your ability to process sales seamlessly.
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transaction processing are essential.
• Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures compliance with industry standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while managing multiple responsibilities with a positive attitude.
