Server Lead

Position: Lead Server — Contemporary Sushi Restaurant

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Server who enjoys providing excellent service, supporting a team, and keeping front-of-house operations organized. Our contemporary sushi restaurant features a full bar, and we’re seeking someone who can lead by example while creating a welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive service and guide guests through our sushi menu and beverage selections.
• Coordinate service and support the team during busy shifts.
• Prepare staff schedules based on business needs and employee availability.
• Monitor front-of-house inventory and place orders to maintain appropriate stock.
• Train and coach staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and daily procedures.
• Build strong team morale through clear communication, encouragement, and accountability.
• Address guest concerns professionally and work closely with the kitchen and management.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience; lead server or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sushi and experience with full-bar service.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to train staff and maintain a positive, respectful team environment.
• Comfortable handling scheduling, ordering, and inventory.
• Ability to stay composed and make sound decisions during busy service.
• Weekend availability required.
• Fluency in Korean or Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Pay: [20-22] + tips
Schedule: [Part-Time]; weekends required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
