Server Maintenance Engineer / Server After-Sales Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

• Perform server delivery and installation activities, including server rack mounting, equipment installation, and cable management.

• Conduct server hardware inspection, testing, and commissioning to ensure equipment is properly installed and operational.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot server hardware issues through log collection, analysis, and systematic fault identification.

• Perform corrective maintenance and replacement of faulty server components, including hard drives, motherboards, memory, power supplies, and other hardware components.

• Perform server firmware, BIOS, and related system updates as required.

• Support server maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and on-site technical troubleshooting.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve server-related technical issues and ensure timely service delivery.

• Maintain accurate records of server installations, maintenance activities, component replacements, and troubleshooting results.

• Provide technical support for server after-sales services and ensure issues are resolved within the required service level.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in server maintenance, hardware support, data center operations, IT infrastructure, or field service engineering.

• Hands-on experience with server hardware installation, rack mounting, cabling, hardware replacement, and troubleshooting.

• Familiar with server components such as CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, PSU, RAID, and related hardware.

• Good understanding of BIOS, firmware updates, server logs, and hardware diagnostic tools.

• Experience with server brands such as Huawei, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Inspur, Supermicro, or similar is highly preferred.

• Experience in data center environments or server after-sales service is an advantage.

• Willing to work in a data center environment and shifting schedule.
