Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as CLOVER, ensuring timely and correct processing of transactions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail mixing, wine pouring, spirits service, and beverage presentation in accordance with safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing sales transactions with POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software
• Assist guests with questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or wine pairings to foster guest relations and satisfaction
• Support team members during busy hours by collaborating seamlessly in a fast-paced environment that may include nightclub or fine dining settings

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as CLOVER, or similar platforms for order entry and transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
