Server - Mare e Monte (We Train You)

Team players with a great attitude, this is for you.

Are you a busser, runner or newer server who's ready to move up but isn't getting the chance where you are? We want you. You don't need years of experience. You need to really want it, show up, and work as a team. We'll train you to be one of the best servers in San Antonio.

About us: Mare e Monte ("Sea and Mountain") is a family-owned scratch Italian restaurant on Huebner Rd. Our sauces, pasta and entrees are made fresh every day. We serve wine and beer, we're walk-in only, and our promise to every guest is "Welcome Home."

What we look for:

• A great attitude and real teamwork. You help each other, every shift.

• Hospitality first. You greet every guest, say goodbye to every guest, and smile.

• Your energy goes up when it's busy, not down.

• You show up on time, ready to work and ready to learn.

What you'll do:

• Guide guests through a scratch menu and take orders accurately.

• Handle allergies with care. You never guess.

• Open and present wine at the table (we'll teach you).

• Look after every table from greeting to goodbye.

• Side work, closing duties, and teamwork with the kitchen.

Training: Every server completes our 7-day training program and passes a written server test before working the floor. We invest in you.

Schedule: Closed Mondays. Lunch and dinner shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
