Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to safety standards
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations skills by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Support team members during busy hours by managing time effectively and prioritizing guest needs

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink presentation techniques
• Experience with fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and managing tabs efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food handling
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue potential
