Server Night Shift

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process sales transactions efficiently
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail, spirits, wine, and beverage service, while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained throughout service
• Manage cash handling accurately, process payments swiftly, and provide correct change or receipts
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries professionally, and ensure overall guest satisfaction during the night shift

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy night hours
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales revenue
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or nightclubs
