Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Server at Northlake, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that guides guests through their journey, ensuring exceptional service from start to finish.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems
• Maintain knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to keep the dining area organized and inviting
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items such as wine knowledge or spirits selection, ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong guest relations abilities
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is beneficial

Pay: $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
