Job Title: Server / Waiter (Order Taking)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Server/Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking customer orders accurately, ensuring prompt service, and maintaining a positive dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding a suitable table.
• Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and input them into the POS system.
• Communicate special requests or dietary requirements to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Handle billing, process payments, and issue receipts accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and support staff to ensure smooth service.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or escalate to the supervisor when necessary.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a waiter/server in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of menu items, food ingredients, bakery and beverages.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Education:

• Minimum Matriculation or equivalent.
• Hospitality or food service training will be an advantage.
