Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS if available
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or hospitality is highly desirable
• Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a bonus
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
