Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing your knowledge of menu items and specials to upsell where appropriate
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
• Handle cash or electronic transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including basic math calculations for bills and tips
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred; experience in serving is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating bills or tips accurately
• Good communication skills to provide exceptional guest services and upselling opportunities
• Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation processes
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
