Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements or host/hostess duties to ensure a smooth flow of seating.
• Take phone orders accurately using POS systems such as Square POS, process sales transactions efficiently, and upsell menu items.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Provide expert beverage service, including cocktail mixing and wine knowledge, ensuring guests receive attentive and personalized service.
• Clear tables swiftly after guests finish dining; bus tables and reset for incoming guests to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments accurately, and manage POS systems seamlessly.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism.
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, cocktails, wine pairings, and drink presentation enhances guest satisfaction.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or phone orders simultaneously without compromising quality.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately; understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
• Experience in bussing, hosting, cashiering, within the food industry.
