Duties

• Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver outstanding guest experiences through exceptional service and attention to detail.
• Oversee food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable.
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation techniques, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail recipes.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures.
• Process cash transactions accurately while managing credit card payments and sales transactions efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and fostering positive guest relations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary and support kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Manage guest relations by creating a welcoming atmosphere in both fine dining settings and lively nightlife environments such as nightclubs or bars.
• Support sanitation efforts by bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness in service areas, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service roles with a strong background in restaurant or nightclub environments.
• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable platforms.
• Culinary experience combined with beverage expertise in spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail creation, and drink service.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales reports.
• Food safety certification along with sanitation training to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Hospitality background with experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings; nightclub or bar experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as serving, bussing, cashiering, and supporting kitchen operations seamlessly.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
