Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
• Serve food and beverages responsibly, including spirits and wine knowledge, ensuring proper presentation and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation protocols
• Assist with food handling and preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous
