Server Support/Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas through regular cleaning and bussing of tables to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Support food preparation and handling in compliance with food safety standards, including proper manual handling and safe lifting practices.
• Help with in-person guest services by responding to customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, tables, or equipment safely to support restaurant operations.
• Ensure proper food running procedures are followed to maintain efficiency during busy service periods.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality, communication, and guest engagement.
• Able to work outside and stand for long periods of time.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor suitable for in-person customer service.
