Server (Sushi/Japanese Restaurant)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Experienced Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, full serviced Japanese Izakaya and Sushi Restaurant. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Schedules (Must be available for at least 3 dinner shifts)

Tuesday to Sunday Dinner from 5:00pm to close (between 9:30 to 10:15pm)

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.

Skills

• Basic Japanese Culture and Food Knowledge is a plus.
• Background in food service or the food industry is essential.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred; Japanese Restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
