Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Process cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling and register operations.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling orders, handling food safely, and operating kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage customer service interactions by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Support team members in operating POS systems, processing cash transactions, and managing customer orders with accuracy and professionalism.

Experience

• Bilingual speaker preferred (Spanish & English)
• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle POS systems such as Toast POS confidently.
• Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is beneficial.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations.
