Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards
• Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs proactively

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
