Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling and preparation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback promptly
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Clear tables, bus tables, and reset dining areas quickly to maintain a smooth flow of service
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, adhering to sanitation regulations and food safety protocols
• Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations via OpenTable or similar platforms

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic, positive attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and team collaboration
• Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and handling cash transactions accurately
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
