Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards during food handling, beverage service, and bussing duties
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures

Skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Toast is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing sales transactions and giving correct change
• Previous food industry or restaurant experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Bilingual is a plus!
