Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Use OpenTable or other reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently and minimize wait times
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining or high-volume environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Culinary experience or beverage expertise including cocktail making, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one; knowledge of sanitation practices is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Passion for hospitality with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
