Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables and sanitation duties
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety management practices at all times

Experience

• Previous food service or quick service restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food industry standards
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with retail sales transactions, cashiering, and basic math skills necessary for processing cash handling accurately
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Background in pizzeria, Italian restaurant environments is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued
