Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including wine knowledge and spirits experience, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and processing cash transactions with precision
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wine pairings, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage service stations
• Support food preparation tasks when necessary, including bussing tables and assisting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently while providing excellent guest relations
• Assist with host/hostess duties during peak times to ensure smooth seating flow and guest comfort
• Demonstrate culinary experience by understanding menu ingredients, dietary restrictions, and food safety protocols

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail making, and beverage service techniques (including drink service) is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Experience with fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or assisting in kitchen areas
• Food safety certifications or knowledge of sanitation standards are beneficial
• A passion for hospitality with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences
