Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items, wine pairings, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations when needed
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Collaborate seamlessly with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub environments

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing
• Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and beverage service is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive interactions
• Experience working in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous but not required; a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences is key
