Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper beverage service techniques including cocktail preparation and wine knowledge
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest bookings effectively
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships and handle any special requests or concerns professionally

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability in beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail making, and drink presentation
• Experience working in fine dining settings or nightclubs is a plus
• Strong skills in customer service, guest relations, and sales techniques like upselling are essential
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy hours

Pay: Up to $2.15 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
