Server — 2 Openings

Compensation: $8.00 per hour + tips

This is a tipped position. In addition to the $8.00 hourly base rate, servers are eligible to earn tips.

Schedule:
Thursday–Saturday: 2:30 PM–6:00 PM or 5:30 PM–9:30 PM
Sunday 10:30-5:30

Hours may vary based on business needs.

Job Description

Mocha Bay is seeking two professional, personable, and dependable Servers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who take pride in providing attentive service and creating a welcoming, elevated dining experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and confidently answer guest questions
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience and anticipate their needs
• Process guest payments accurately
• Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
• Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management staff
• Follow restaurant sanitation, safety, and service standards
• Maintain a polished and professional presence

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Must be available during the required Thursday–Sunday schedule

Uniform & Appearance

Team members are expected to maintain a polished and professional appearance. Black dress pants or an appropriate black skirt, sheer stockings when applicable, and clean black professional shoes, loafers, flats or appropriate heels are required. A white Mocha Bay logo shirt will be provided.

Pay: $7.00 - $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
