Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
• Upsell menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage service
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless service flow

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus for understanding menu offerings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently by leveraging wine knowledge, spirits experience, or cocktail expertise
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine pairing, and drink presentation
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
