Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using toast POS system
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items like cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling procedures
• Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, highly preferred
• Weekends & upcoming holidays are a must during busy our season
• Familiarity with POS systems such as toast POS is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one prior to start date is preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food handling protocols in the food industry
