Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as toast
• Understand the menu (cocktail and appetizers) to recommend items based on feedback
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations and retail sales transactions.
• Assist in bar preparation, cleaning and organization tasks to ensure timely service, including handling kitchen equipment safely and maintaining food safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols throughout your shift.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, addressing any questions or concerns to foster a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience, including quick service or fast-food restaurant roles, is highly preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety guidelines diligently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and restaurant safety standards is essential.
• Prior experience in retail sales transactions or café environments is a plus.
