Duties

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to enhance guest satisfaction
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Upsell menu items including specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and ensuring a tidy dining area
• Assist with food preparation, beverage service, and food handling to support kitchen operations when needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and providing correct change
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of fine dining standards preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service to enhance guest experiences
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts
• Food safety certifications and understanding of sanitation practices in the food industry
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting while maintaining professionalism
