Job Summary - Night Shift Part-Time

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, Cake.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, wine selections, cocktails, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables as needed
• Assist with food preparation, cocktail mixing, and beverage service including spirits knowledge and drink garnishing
• Manage reservations and support host/hostess duties when required
• Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; restaurant server experience preferred
• Proficiency with POS system and cashiering skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting with strong time management skills
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, serving, and guest relations is highly valued
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively restaurant environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age to apply
• Must have reliable transportation
