Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage beverage service including cocktail preparation, wine service, and drink garnishing with expertise
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently
• Build strong guest relations by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns promptly

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one; knowledge of sanitation practices is a plus
• Experience with food handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a restaurant environment
• Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $24.62 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
