Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation, beverage mixing, and bar service when needed to support team operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Support opening and closing duties including cash reconciliation and POS system management
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques (OpenTable experience is a plus)
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a busy setting; strong organizational skills are essential
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales quickly
• Food safety certification knowledge along with sanitation practices in food handling environments
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for supporting food prep and ensuring quality standards are met
• Familiarity with fine dining or nightclub settings enhances ability to adapt to different atmospheres
• Strong communication skills paired with a friendly attitude to foster guest satisfaction and teamwork
