Server / Waiter / Waitress

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.

* Present menus and explain food and beverage options.

* Take food and drink orders accurately.

* Have strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.

* Recommend menu items and promote specials.

* Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.

* Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.

* Handle customer requests and complaints professionally.

* Process payments and handle checks accurately.

* Maintain clean and organized tables and dining areas.

* Assist with opening and closing duties.

* Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.

* Work as a team with servers, bussers, food runners, and hosts.

* Assist with hosting duties, including greeting and seating guests, when needed.

* Learn how to prepare and package takeout orders and assist during short-staffed shifts.

* Be flexible and willing to support other restaurant positions when necessary.

* Follow restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Requirements:

* Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.

* Strong English communication skills.

* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

* Strong multitasking skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

* Ability to adapt quickly to different roles and tasks.

* Willingness to assist with hosting, payments, and takeout packaging when needed.

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy hours.

* Professional appearance and positive attitude.

* Strong teamwork and communication skills.

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Must be reliable, punctual, responsible, and flexible.

* Willingness to learn the menu and restaurant service standards.
