Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as a host/host when needed
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage multiple tables with effective time management, ensuring timely service without sacrificing quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Open availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
