Server with Bartending Experience

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team at Cape Fear Seafood Company! This role will consist of a combination of serving and bartending shifts. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests in a relaxed, casual setting. If you have a passion for the food industry, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have at least one year of previous bartending experience, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and take their orders promptly and accurately

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

• Provide recommendations on drink and food selections based on guest preferences

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices

• Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently

• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Assist in restocking inventory and maintaining par levels of supplies

Experience:

• At least one year of bartending in a full-service restaurant

• Ability to follow cocktail recipes exactly to ensure consistency

• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills for handling cash and making change

• Weekend availability including Sunday is a must!
